Returns Policy

 

There are a few items that are not eligible for a refund or exchange:

  • Helmets - We do not allow exchange or refunds on helmets due to safety reasons. 
  • Items marked as: Clearance, or Special Clearout
  • Items marked as: "Non-Returnable" 
  • Any electronic which has been removed from packaging
  • Items for which the packaging has been damaged/destroyed are not returnable
  • Any part which has been installed or shows signs of attempting to be installed
  • Gift Cards 
  • Genuine Spare Parts

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under Australia consumer law.

 

When returning or exchanging an item...

Should you want to return or exchange your order, we ask that you complete and enclose/attach the following RETURNS AND EXCHANGES FORM. This information helps us process the return in a timely manner.

 If you want to check stock of a particualr size or have any questions please drop us a line via email or call us on (02) 9330 9105 with details of your Order Number (e.g. 25526) and the SKU and size to be exchanged.

 

Returns 

Did you order the wrong size? Not quite what you wanted? We happily accept returns for items purchased online subject to the following conditions:

  • Items must be returned within 30 days.
  • Items must be in original, undamaged, unworn, unwashed condition with all tags still attached, and in the original packaging or the return may be refused.
  • You are responsible for any costs associated with returning your item to us.
  • If you request a refund, the value of your order, minus postage costs will be refunded to you (by us crediting your original payment method) once we have received the return item back and confirmed that it meets the above conditions.
  • Refunds are usually processed within 5 business days. Refunds generally take 2-3 business days to show up on your credit card statement/bank account.
  • For OEM orders we encourage you to check availability of your part(s) prior to placing the order, as we will not accept returns or refund requests after the items are placed into a backorder.

 

Exchanges

  • Items must be returned within 30 days.
  • Items must be in original, undamaged, unworn, unwashed condition with all tags still attached, or the return may be refused.
  • You are responsible for any costs associated with returning your item to us.
  • Please include a self addressed prepaid satchel with your return parcel, such as a 3kg/5kg Express Post satchel that you can purchase at your local Post Office. We'll be using this satchel to return the exchange back to you.

 

Defects and Warranties

Each manufacturer has its own warranty policy. Sydney City Motorcycles will assist customers with their warranty claim; we only ask that customers be patient as sometimes this process can take longer than any of us would like.

Our Fault

Sometimes, but very rarely, we make mistakes. Firstly we apologise in advance, however if there’s a fault with your item, or we sent you the incorrect size or product, we’ll supply a return label to cover any return/shipping cost associated with replacing the item.
